Simple Fresh Southern wins IACP Cookbook Award!

The IACP Best American Cookbook Award was given to “The Lee Bros. Simple Fresh Southern,” announced this evening in Austin, Texas at the International Association of Culinary Professionals awards ceremony! Ted was present to accept the award, the second “Best American” for the Lee Bros. and the third IACP Award they’ve received–the other being the Julia Child Award for a first cookbook, for The Lee Bros. Southern Cookbook (W.W. Norton 2006). Kudos to all the fine nominees, and many thanks to Ben Fink, photographer, and Rica Allanic, the editor, to everyone who worked so hard on this book–and to all of you who cook from it!
